Our first set of eggs are at the top. They should start hatching on Monday or Tuesday. We candled them all when we got back from Alex's and threw out the ones that didn't have chicks in them. When you get to day 18, you need to take the eggs out of the automatic turner, as it can crush the chicks.
On the bottom, we have 13 Black Copper Maran eggs. We will have to turn the new eggs by hand several times a day until the chicks hatch, then we can put them in the turner! So excited to post pictures of the chicks next week!

That's pretty exciting! It sounds like a lot of work though. Did you already have all the equipment? I'm looking forward to pictures of the chicks!
